MINI-SYMPOSIA

Spectroscopy in Atmospheric Chemistry

Organized by Steve Brown (NOAA/University of Colorado)
and Frank Keutsch (Harvard University)

This mini-symposium will focus on advances in different types of spectroscopic methods, in-situ and remote, within the context of their application to atmospheric science. Invited Speakers: Stan Sander (Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology), Phil Stevens (Indiana University), Rainer Volkamer (University of Colorado, Boulder), Gerard Wysocki (Princeton University)

Spectroscopy in Traps

Organized by Stephan Schlemmer (Universität zu Köln)

The number of spectroscopy studies in traps rapidly increased over the last decade. This mini-symposium will cover many different scientific and technical aspects of this still unconventional spectroscopy method, including small ions, larger complexes, astrophysically relevant species, and the influence of molecular collisions. Invited Speakers: Mark Johnson (Yale University), Jos Oomens (Radboud University), Roland Wester (Universität Innsbruck)

Spectroscopy of Large Amplitude Motions

Organized by Isabelle Kleiner (CNRS et Université Paris Est et Paris Diderot)
and Jon Hougen (NIST)

This mini-symposium will cover all aspects of the spectroscopy of large amplitude motions in molecules, with special emphasis on emerging experimental and theoretical techniques that may trigger rapid advances in the next generation of high-resolution studies. Invited Speakers: Therese Huet (Université Lille 1 - CNRS), Marek Kreglewski (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań), Stephan Schlemmer (Universität zu Köln)
